Abstract
Non-climacteric agricultural products are the commodity that cannot mature after being harvested so it is necessary to determine the right harvesting time to obtain the best quality. Generally, farmer will determinate the maturity of those commodities using a sound response from fruit tapping in addition to seeing the visual appearance. However, this is subjective so it is necessary to develop a more reliable and practical method. In this study, a knocker maturity detection tool had been built and was used to evaluate three types of non-climacteric commodity, namely seedless watermelon aged 51, 54, 57, 60 DAP, eggplants aged 42, 44, 46, 48 DAP and cucumbers aged 27, 28, 29, 30 DAP. The knocking sound was recorded using Audacity 2.3.1 and then analyzed the frequency and magnitude parameters using Matlab R2014b. The results obtained were related to the physicochemical parameters of the samples. The results showed that the constructed knocker was able to distinguish the level of fruit maturity. In addition, it was also known that the right time for harvesting watermelon was 89 Hz or 50 dB, eggplant 157 Hz or 54 dB, and cucumber was 218 Hz or 52 dB.

Abstract
Controlled drip irrigation systems are one of the most efficient irrigation systems. The soil moisture sensor has a problem with positioning in the soil which causes errors in reading the actual moisture levels and failure to meet the actual crop water requirements. This research aims to determine the optimum position of the soil moisture sensor that represents the actual condition of the root crop water requirements. Knowledge of soil wetted arising from the infiltration of an efficient controlled irrigation system, determines the position of the sensor. The experiment used 26 soil moisture sensor and approached the ratio comparison between the observation of the volume wetting and the volume of the wetting sensor moisture in each segment with an interval of 6 minutes. Indicated the sensor at that location represented actual wetted these occurred in a controlled drip irrigation system. The results showed, the sensors of soil moisture numbers 16, 17 and 18 have the best R2 average value of 0.973, 0.953 and 0.931. These values showed that optimal position of the soil moisture sensor, which represents the actual condition of the crop water requirements. Thus, in the application of drip irrigation the position of the optimal soil moisture sensor is controlled at a depth of 10 cm at a radius of 5 cm from the emitter.

Abstract
Intensive use of paddy fields will cause a decrease in the fertility of the land. On the other hand, the continuous use of chemical fertilizers will result in environmental pollution even though fertilization is one of the important things to increase production. Organic fertilizer applicator technology is able to fertilize quickly and precisely. The use of organic fertilizers as soil conditioner can increase soil organic matter content so as to maintain and increase the fertility of agricultural land. Fertilization using technology in the form of an organic fertilizer applicator is expected to maximize plant growth so that it can increase rice production. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficiency of the application of organic fertilizer on rice fields. This applicator uses a conveyor belt as metering device, so that the power for the operation of the applicator comes from the wheel rotation and chain transmission. The results show that the applicator can function well. The factors that influence the magnitude of efficiency include the speed and proficiency of the operator.

Abstract
Child labor is a disturbing problem, because children has the right to obtain education, to receive protection, love and to enjoy his childhood. In many cases, poverty is the main reason of unpleasant childhood. Poverty makes the parents powerless to carry out their roles in the economic sector, and are forced to send their children to work. Working children will lose the opportunity to go to school thus will face difficulties in finding decent job in the future. In other words, reducing child labor is an active intermediary in reducing poverty. United nation is committed to reducing poverty in all aspects by 2030. This commitment is poured into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Several studies has shown that the ease of obtaining credit access in households is helping in reducing the number of child worker. This paper examines the correlation between child labor with micro credit access of Baitul Mall wat Tamwil (BMT) and Islamic Banking in Indonesia.

Abstract
Essential amino acid methionine is a methyl donor which involved in protein and fat metabolism; thus, it holds an important role in the synthesis of egg yolk and albumen precursors. This research aimed to observe the effect of methionine on the weight of egg and its components and to prove if egg weight could be used to predict the yolk and albumen weight. In total, 225 quails were allotted into three treatments and five replicates each with fifteen individuals. The treatments were basal diet (T0), basal diet with 0.06% (T1) and 0.12% methionine (T2). ANOVA was conducted to test the effect of treatments. Simple linear regressions were built to predict yolk and albumen weight based on egg weight. Cross validation procedure was applied to test the predictability of the models. Quails in T2 and T1 produced heavier eggs (9.29±0.52 and 9.04±0.76 g) compared to T0 (8.77±0.55 g). Albumen weight follow similar trends which were 5.37±0.38, 5.53±0.54, 5.75±0.44 g for T2, T1 and T0, respectively. Yolk weight slightly differ where T1 had higher weight (2.64±0.30 g) followed by T2 (2.62±0.27 g) and T0 (2.50±0.32 g). Pearson-s correlation between egg and yolk weight were between 61-71% whereas for egg and albumen were between 69-87%. Simple linear regression predicting yolk and albumen weight from egg weight had accuracies between 92.7-94.3% and 94.3-96.2%, respectively. Methionine supplementation had significant effect on egg and egg components weights. Linear regression can be utilized to predict yolk and albumen weight based on egg weight with high accuracy.

Abstract
Machine components such as gear and crankshaft require hard surface and ductile core characteristics. One method to obtained such characteristics is pack carburizing. This research concern to compare the mechanical properties of carburized low carbon steel under different carburizers; GBC (80% goat bone charcoal + 20% BaCO3) and BC (80% bamboo charcoal + 20% BaCO3). The specimens placed in a steel box containing carburizer, loaded into an electric furnace, heated up to a temperature of 950 OC, soaked for 4 hours and quenched in the oil. The hardness and strength of samples were measured by applying of Vickers Hardness Tester and Universal Tensile Machine, respectively. The results of the research showed that hardness, yield strength, tensile strength and modulus elasticity of both carburized low carbon steel increased significantly, however, there was a decrease in elongation. The closer to the core the lower of hardness obtained until at a distance is equal to raw material hardness. The use of carburizer GBC produces carburized steel with higher yield strength (51.75 kg.mm-2), tensile strength (74.58 kg.mm-2), and elongation (5.78 %) than carburizer BC but lower in hardness (558.13 HV1), modulus elasticity (256.79 GPa), and effective case depth (0.33 mm). The mechanical properties of carburized low carbon steels have fulfilled requirements as the material of gear or shaft.

Abstract
Activated carbon is a multipurpose material due to its unique characteristics such as high surface area and pore volume. This paper concerns to develop and characterize of activated carbon from lignocellulosic material, particularly from swat bamboo (Gigantocholoa verticillata). Activated carbons were manufactured under different carbonization temperatures (550, 650, and 750OC) and activation durations (1.5 and 2 hours). Characterizations conducted include proximate and proximate analyses and nitrogen adsorption isotherm test in order to know the proximate and elemental composition and the structural characteristics (pore volume, surface area, pore diameter, and pore size distribution), respectively. The results show that activated carbon that activated at a temperature of 750 OC over 1.5 hours obtain the optimal characteristics. This activated carbon had highest surface area (SBET), pore volume (Vp) and nitrogen adsorption capacity of 135.30 m2/g, 0.138 cm3/g, and 95.776 cm3/g, respectively, with an average pore diameter of 2.053 nm and fix carbon and C contents of (75.26%) and C (76.79%) respectively. Its pore size distribution is monomodal and most of the adsorption occurred at pore size in the range of 0.795–10.486 nm and the highest adsorption (0.056 cm3/g/nm) occurred at a pore size of 1.516 nm.

Abstract
One of the diseases whose prevalence continues to increase and needs serious attention in the GBD is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The number of new cases of HIV in 2014-2016 was 104,896, the number of cases was quite large in the province of East Java with 15,176 people. Patients with AIDS show damaged CD8+ T cells (CTL), even though HIV does not infect CD8+ T cells. This is because CD4+ T cells (the main target of HIV) are needed for the response of CD8+ T cells to antigens. HIV infection reduces the number of CD4+ T cells and cytokines released by T lymphocytes, such as interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-2 (IL-2). After an HIV positive patient is exposed to Mycobacterium tuberculosis, IFN-γ decreases, reducing the response of helper 1 T cells (TH1). This study is an observational study with a cross sectional study design that is analytical. Representative data was performed on whole blood and analyzed on a dual-laser BDFACS brand flow cytometer with laser excitation at 488 nm and 635 nm. The results of this study are that there is no significant relationship between CD8+ count and IFN-γ in HIV-infected patients with pulmonary tuberculosis infection at UPIPI Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya. The greater the count of CD8+ respondents, the higher the IFN-γ level will tend to be.

Abstract
This research discusses the efforts of disaster risk reduction (DRR) of landslide in Depok Village. The objective of landslide DRR like step to increase capacity and reduce the vulnerability of communities in dealing with and managing disasters and there impacts. Factors in the absence of education on DRR, lack of initiation in the formation of DRR groups and the lack of policy advocacy on the implementation of DRR programs by the village government are at the root of the mapped problem. This research and advisory approach uses PAR (Particpatory Action Research) method. PAR is a collaborative activity between researchers and the community to conduct joint research, formulate problems, develop problem-solving strategies, conduct continuous and sustainable actions. PAR is designed to conceptualize a change and make changes to it. Given the disaster is something that can not be separated in life, so the publics view of the issue of disaster should be changed. Also invite the community to be able to manage the disaster thoroughly both before, during and after the disaster. The shift in view from responsiveness to preventive, from government affairs to community participation, from multiple sector responsibilities to responsibilities of various sectors, and from coping with impacts to reducing risk. The result of this research and facilitation is the awareness of Depok Village community about DRR, the formation of Desa Tangguh Bencana as the transformation of Arisan RT group and the program plan on DRR efforts by Depok village government. So that the ideal disaster risk reduction (DRR) activities both at the central and regional levels according to Constitution Number 24 of 2007 on disaster management can be implemented in Depok Village. So create a community that is ready for alert and resilient to landslide disaster.

Backgrounds: Type 2 diabetes generally attacks people with unbalanced diet patterns. It is suspected that people suffering from diabetes are not caused by sweet foods but because they consume lots of fatty foods. And if left too long there will be an accumulation of fat and obesity that is characterized by dyslipidemia which is one of the main risk factors for atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease, characterized by increased levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and decreased HDL cholesterol. A number of researchers found, that blood viscosity plasma viscosity changes in diabetes. Objective: the aims of this study to determine the relationship between plasma viscosity and LDL-cholesterol in patients with type 2 diabetes in the Gambiran Regional General Hospital Kediri. Methods : this study used a cross-sectional survey with accidental where this was done by taking cases who happened to exist in a place in accordance with the research context. Total of samples are 57 patients. Results : the result of this study showed that the significance value of the study was 0,000 and less than 0.05 (p <α). The correlation value obtained is 0.650. It indicates that the correlation between these two variables tends to be high (0.60 - 0.799 = high), which means that if LDL levels increase, the value of plasma viscosity is also higher. Conclusions: is that there is a significant relationship between plasma viscosity and levels of LDL-cholesterol in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract
Oral contraceptives (OC) are the most regulating method of pregnancy popular in developed and developing countries due to its high success rate, convenience of use and wide availability. On the other hand, OC use can affect some hematological test results, such as the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and mean corpuscular volume (MCV) that can certainly harm patients. Therefore, it is important to know the time limit for OC use that can affect check-up result. Until now, the correlation between the length of OC use and the ESR and MCV values is not clearly elucidated. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the length of OC use and ESR and MCV values. This research is correlational study with cross-sectional approch. The research subject was obtained by snowball sampling of 18 healthy women (age 30-45 years) who used OC in Makassar. All of them were checked for the ESR and MCV values using the Westergreen and Flowcytometry method, respectively. From statistical analysis using Person Correlation test, it was found a significant correlation between the length of OC use and ESR value (P <0.05). The longer use of OC led to an increase of ESR value which could occur from the first 4 months until 8 years of OC use. In contrary, there was no significant difference between the length of OC use and MCV value.

Abstract
Language barriers occur during self-confidence building process while trying to use a new language. This qualitative research was conducted to foreigners who have got constraints in language adaptation during their living in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to show how and when language barriers can hinder self-confidence building process which also affects personality development and individual improved performance. Purposive sampling was used to select 15 informants living in Surabaya. The research answers the following questions: How can language become a challenge to self-confidence building? What is the relationship between language and performance? The research results show that when there is a challenge during self-confidence building, personality development also suffers, which finally causes poor performance. Language barrier is one of the main challenges during self-confidence building process, where fear, anxiety, underestimation, negative thinking and feelings were mainly stated as obstacles during communication as a way of self-confidence building that later hinders personality development and performance among individuals. Everyone is a candidate to language change, environment change and culture change, that-s why the researcher recommends that in order to overcome language barriers and have effective self-confidence building process, people need to have positive thinking, self-concept, believe in their ability and be keen to learn.

Abstract
Evidence that is considered valid based on Article 184 of the KUHAP (Criminal Procedure Code) includes witness statements and statements of suspects. But in reality, the information provided by witnesses and suspects may not be in accordance with the actual event. The emotional shock experienced by the witness can cause a discrepancy between the incident and the information given. Likewise from the side of the suspect. A suspect can manipulate his mental state to avoid his responsibilities. One of the roles of psychology scientists in the forensics field is helping the authorities in obtaining information that is in accordance with the actual event and also analyzing the mental condition of both the real suspect and witness

Abstract
Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of a big cities in Indonesia which has important meaning from the political, social, economic and cultural aspect. This area is located in a high earthquake hazard zone based on the 2017 Earthquake Hazard Map. This location also mentioned has accelerated bedrock acceleration up to 0.6g. In this study, a re-analysis of PSHA will be carried out using the OpenQuake software with the GEM database and the latest attenuation to see the number of acceleration differences generated in the bedrock. Simulation is done by making two logic tree attenuation scenarios, later called the Pusgen scenario (1) and the Cummins scenario (2). The result of this study is the first scenario will result in an acceleration greater than the second scenario. Bedrock PGA based on Pusgen scenario range from 0.431-0.720g in another hand Cummins scenarios ranges from 0.405 to 0.709g.

Abstract
The high number of divorce cases in Cilacap Regency in the last few years (the most in number in Central Java) is an interesting phenomenon to study especially among the State Civil Apparatus/ASN. This is in line with their role as government policy implementers and public service providers who need harmonious family support. This study aims to describe the profile of divorce among ASN/PNS over the 2015-2017 period. This study applies descriptive-quantitative approach by utilizing the secondary data from the Regional Agency for Civil Service, Education and Training (BKPPD) of Cilacap Regency. The data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result shows that at tht period, the number of cases is quite a lot, but it tended to decrease. Most of them are women as the plaintiffs and are from the Education Agency, especially as teacher. Most of them are highly educated (S1), have been married for over 20 years and have two children. In general, the causative factor is the lack of conjugal communication and worsened by other factors such as economic problems, domestic violence and infidelity. It is recommended that each agency (especially the Office of Education) increase the coaching of family resilience to its employees.

Abstract
Rice problems in Indonesia related to handling yields to consumers often lead to inequality of results for farmers as the main tier in rice production. The length of the supply chain, poor inventory management and the absence of interrelated supply-demand management make supply chain actors not integrated and inefficient. This study aim is to conduct re-engineering process of the supply chain and distribution of rice in the Province of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta in order to provide an overview and policy recommendations as an effort to increase farmers income and reasonable price fixing of rice for consumers. The technique of data collection is carried out by conducting surveys, interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that from the five regency sampled, Demak, Sukoharjo, Klaten, Bantul and Sleman, they had the same supply chain map, which included farmers; collectors / grinders / traders; small retailer; big retailer. Regarding the rice supply chain that is symmetrical, it is not necessary to cut off the chain of tier but by applying a more balanced business pattern by promoting symmetrical information patterns. The impact of using mechanization was increasing production and income of farmers in Klaten, Sleman, Demak, Sukoharjo and Bantul, has a positive impact to reducing time for operations in the field and decreasing operational costs.
