Abstract
The role algebra in mathematics is important because it relates to other materials such as geometry, calculus, basic matrices, trigonometry, statistics, vectors, and other mathematical studies. However, students- mistakes in solving algebraic fractions are often found due to the fact that students- are lack in understanding the algebra and arithmetic. Therefore, in this study, researchers interested to analyse some students- errors by AVAE Categories in the topic on algebraic fraction. The sample in this study was 30 junior high school students. The data was collected by test of simplifying algebraic fraction. The data were used to analyse the students- error using AVAE (Arithmetic, variables, algebraic expression, and equal sign) categories and eight of them were interviewed. The results showed that students had difficulty in understanding arithmetic and algebraic expressions

Abstract
In learning mathematics mathematical connections ability is one of the mathematical ability that must be possessed by students. The strong connection between concepts in mathematics implies that mathematical connections ability also contains other mathematical aspects or vice versa. Viewing mathematics as a whole is very important in learning and thinking about connections between topics in mathematics. This study uses qualitative research methods with phenomenology research design types. The participants in this study were 8 middle school mathematics teachers who taught at different schools. This study uses a short interview form which consists of five open questions to determine the teachers understanding of mathematical connection ability. It was found that middle school math teachers had sufficient comprehensive and adequate knowledge of their views on mathematical connection ability, moreover there were also respondents who could not provide examples of mathematical problems that contained the characteristics of mathematical connection ability even though they were able to define what mathematical connection is. Likewise, the development of teachers in mathematical connection ability in learning is still limited to the scope of the relationship of mathematics with mathematics itself and mathematics with everyday life.

Abstract
The third dimension is a subject that is still considered difficult for high school students, because students have not been able to understand the construction of images from three dimensions to two dimensional shapes. And the main factors that cause other students that make it difficult for students to learn the three dimensions of euclid geometric concepts based on 5 basic postulates that should be developed, but most teachers ignore this, because it is preferred to calculate the appropriate formula. This, limiting students to explore the science of geometry, plus the fear of students when trying to solve geometry problems. To bring up the high-level abilities of high school students, it is to provide motivation to learn, by providing stimulus to students about basic concepts that are easily mastered by students, and students are able to answer from the results of their own problem solving. Using the links 5 Euclid postulates help visualize students, students try to analyze the relation of geometric problems to postulates. After that, students express opinions from the results of the thinking process, reevaluate if something goes wrong, and make their own conclusions to solve geometry problems with the Geogebra Javascript. Third dimension learning is more interactive and interesting visually, so students are able to be motivated to deepen the three dimensions.

Abstract
The education distribution problem is a matter how the education system can give a broad opportunity toward all citizens to get the education so that education can be a tool to build the human resource to support the country development. To solve that problem, the government tries to do several ways both conservative and innovative ways. However, that is not absolutely solving the problem. One of them is how expensive the cost is for High School education both financial and social matter if there are so many programs of building school until the countryside. Along that matter there are so many students who have interest to continue their study and they have to find a boarding house which make them easily to reach the school they study because it is nearer to their school. The problem is how is the students- achievement who stay at the boarding house and who stay at with their parents on mathematics at SMUN 2 Tarogong Garut Academic year 2000/2001. Based on the formulated problem so the research is aimed 1) to know the students- achievement who stay at the boarding house 2) to know the students- achievement who stay at with their parents 3) to know the significant difference between them. The hypotheses of the research is 1) All students in the classroom receive the same mathematics lesson 2) The teachers at SMUN 2 Tarogong has done the mathematics learning and teaching according to the Senior High School curriculum 3) The mathematics teacher at SMUN 2 Tarogong has a competence and authority to teach at Senior High School. From the hypotheses above it is known that there is no difference between the students- achievement who stay at the boarding house and who stay with their parents. Based on the calculation using statistic test, the conclusion are 1) There is a difference between students- achievement who stay at the boarding house and who stay with their parents. 2) The students who stay at the boarding house is less than the students- achievement who stay with their parents. According to the result of the questionnaire given by the researcher to the students, it is considered that the students- achievement who stay at the boarding house is less than who stay with their parents and it is also caused by the lack of parents- attention. According to the result of the research, it is suggested to the students who stay at the boarding house to spend the leisure time to learn more in order to get a better achievement, and to the parents whose children stay with them to give more attention and chance to their children to learn, so that their achievements will be better and increase.

Abstract
The research examines the evidence of search intensity toward stock return and liquidity in emerging market country. The sample consist of 9 emerging market country classified as MSCI EM Index. Search intensity is measured by Google Trends named Google Search Volume Index (SVI) as a direct proxy for individual investor-s attention and Abnormal Trading Volume (ATV) as proxied for liquidity. We use Fama-French Three Factor Model to explain stock return variability in emerging market. We obtain weekly data for the period from July 2014 – June 2018 and currency depreciation as attention-grabbing event. We classified the sample into 3 portfolio which are low currency depreciation, medium currency depreciation and sharp currency depreciation. The result showed that the SVI has tendency to explain stock return variability in certain portfolio even though in general SVI insignificant toward stock return and liquidity. Market factor (market risk premium) consistent positive and significant in overall portfolio. ATV has dominance information rather than SVI in explaining stock return. Additionally, we find that in low and sharp currency depreciation, investor tend to invest in small stock with high book to market meanwhile in medium currency depreciation investor tend to invest in big stock with high book to market. Overall, we conclude that in emerging market investor behave on their rationality compared with behavioral aspects.

Abstract
The current strategic environment in the world shows that there is a greater potential for intrastate conflict, especially in third world countries. The United Nations as a world body has held a UN Peacekeeping Mission as an instrument to create peace in countries which undergo multidimensional conflict. Indonesia has sent its personnel in the UN Peacekeeping Mission since 1957 through the sending of the 1st Garuda Contingent to the UNEF Mission in Sinai. At present Indonesia has sent a Garuda contingent in various UN Peacekeeping regions in the world. The involvement of TNI personnel in the UN Peacekeeping Mission has continued to increase from year to year. But the increase in the number of TNI personnel involved in the UN Peacekeeping Mission has not been accompanied by an increase in the number of middle / high ranked TNI officers who are able to hold strategic positions at the UN Peacekeeping Mission. This paper aims to convey a view on the career development of TNI Officers in the UN Peacekeeping Mission. This research uses qualitative methods through literature studies and interviews. The findings indicate the urgency of drafting the concept of career development for TNI Officers in the UN Peacekeeping Mission so that a concept of career development for TNI Officers in the UN Peacekeeping Mission should be drafted.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate how the ability of the managers affect their tendency to perform earnings management on public companies in Indonesia. We measure managerial ability using efficiency model with Data Envelopment Analysis. Using 1332 observations, this study finds that managerial ability positively affects earnings management. We also find that the earnings management does not contribute to company-s market-based performance on the subsequent year. To an extent, this shows that even though skillful managers use their skills to manage the company-s earnings with accrual management, the effort is merely just a noise for the market-based value of the company.

Abstract
My research interest is in Islamic studies, especially in Islamic law relating to rebellion. The rebellion act is closer to the act of betrayal. In constitutional law perspective, this rebellion is defined as the act of a person or group of people towards leadership in a country because of its incompatibility with the rules that apply in the country, so that he or they take actions that tend to "deviate" so that it can break down the leadership of a state leader. From the point of view in Islam, rebellion act can be done by a person or group of people preceded by a political conspiracy, evil consensus, and intrigue to achieve its political goals. In the Quran several verses are mentioned about this treason. Where all contain the notion that treason is an act or an attempt to oppose and undermine the power of someone who is not favored or considered an enemy who has conflicting indications. Both in terms of religion and worldliness by means of deception, deception, or other acts that are contrary to the religion of Islam. Starting from this context, the author wants to review specifications and indications of treason from the perspective of Islamic state governance law by taking the constellation of thoughts of classical scholars. I am especially interested in researching how Islamic law provides legal certainty for the perpetrators of rebellions who are under the guise of religion carried out in countries that are predominantly Muslim, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and others, so that later can provide peace solutions for all people in countries that is. Because religion is always the easiest issue to trigger political turmoil to gain power or destroy the power of a legitimate leader. And this is still and will continue if no in-depth research is carried out to anticipate this. And I hope that this research can be a scientific contribution for all Islamic researchers throughout the world.

Waqf, Social Responsibility and Real Economy

Abstract
The function of waqf institution, which is an integral pillar of the third sector of an ideal Islamic economy, is to contribute towards provision of a social security net to those falling within its vicinities. The value proposition of waqf lies in effectively cascading wealth and benefits of resources to the neglected or comparatively disadvantaged sectors of an economy. Similarly, waqf is equally envisaged to support informal economy by responding to, and patronising the un-organized sectors. To this end, it is critical to identify the existing gaps in the areas of public and private sectors- spending for waqf to effectively fulfil its socio-economic objectives. By targeting the resource-deficient pockets of the economy on priority basis, the utility of waqf-resources can be maximized, which, in turn, reinforces the building blocks of the real economy. This paper argues that the institution of waqf needs to adopt a bottom-up approach in its socio-economic targets in order to optimise its contribution towards real economy in a socially responsible manner. The bottom-up approach calibrated with the sense of Islamic social responsibility is based in sequencing the progression of waqf-based benefits-coverage from necessities to needs and luxuries as per the hierarchy of maqasid-al-shariah. By adopting the framework of maqasid hierarchy, a self-regulatory paradigm can be established for the allocation of awqaf benefits more effectively. The paper critically analyses the moral philosophy, the value proposition and functional mechanism of an ideal waqf followed by pinpointing the key policy recommendations to enhance the role of modern waqf institution. It argues for the introduction and promotion of parallel waqf concept, particularly, in the context of a family waqf. Additionally, the study postulates linking the expected sum of virtues (ajr/thawab) for the waqif with the generated benefits from his/her underlying waqf. Finally, the study argues the merits of consultation mechanism for the potential waqif prior to creation of a waqf in order to maximise the contribution and value addition of his/her underlying waqf benefits. The paper is an outcome of a library-based research, and it adopts socio-legal research paradigm for the analysis of the available literature. To determine the moral philosophy of waqf along with its socio-economic objectives, the primary and secondary sources of shariah including the classical and contemporary fiqh literature have been consulted and referred to.
