This research deals with two different but related topics, financial literacy and its effect in improving capacity to access information and banking services and budget policy and government capacity to intervene and protect migrant worker in Banyumas Regency. Most of researcher and policy maker consider problems and vulnerability faced by migrant worker derive from lack of supervising and coordinating capacities of the governments agencies and that of personal capacity of prospective migrant workers due to educational and socio-economic backgrounds. Different from most of scholarly studies on migrant workers, this research assumes that the lack of financial literacy and the absence of governments budget affirmative policy are roots of the problem. The lack of financial literacy has to do with personal capacity to access information and services while the absence of affirmative policy relates to structural and financial constraints faced by the government to intervene and protect migrant worker. Both problems are directly responsible for ongoing exploitation faced by those working overseas. This research finds out that while migrant workers contributes significantly to boost domestic economy trough remittance on the one hand and deal with unemployment problems on the other, most of migrant worker still relies on high interest debt and rent seeking practices. Though the government currently provides low interest credit program accessible to prospective migrant worker, this research shows that most problems faced by migrant workers in particular and employment problems in general have to be addressed through citizens and private sectors initiatives rather than government interference.

Abstract

Abstract
Terrorism is a reality that always isolates peace in a place. Whether or not it is brought by the armed group or provoked by the tyranny of the government. The former depict the case of Marawi in 2017 when Maute Group, inspired from a prominent single-family in Lanao del Sur, spread terror in the entire city. Hence, this study aims to determine the possible underlying factors that led to its emergence and to identify its effect to its people. The researcher adopted a cross-sectional survey research design to the 100 respondents in MSU Main Campus and made used of the qualitative descriptive methods in the analysis of data. Further, this study used multi-dimensional theories of terrorism such as operant conditioning by Burrhus Fredric Skinner, self-determination by Deci and Ryan and Anarchism theories by Pierre-Joseph Produhn. Results of the study show the rise of Maute group was instigated by interrelated factors such as religion, leadership crisis, family feud, power struggle as well as economic factor. To realize all of these, they resorted into defiance and eventually engaged war with the AFP (Armed force of the Philippines). The war has far-reaching effects in politics, livelihood, peace and order, wellbeing, and education.

Abstract
There has been a considerable increase in the publication of sustainability reports among corporation in the last decade, but sustainability reporting in university is relatively at the beginning stage. Besides the phenomenon gap in university, there is literature gap of the relationship between sustainability performance and reporting. In response to the phenomena and literature gap, this study aims to understand sustainability reporting practices by universities in Indonesia, which are first by knowing the reporting channel used by universities, secondly analyses the level of sustainability reporting readiness of universities, and thirdly examine the difference between sustainability performance and reporting. The data used in this study were secondary data and the samples were 48 Indonesian universities in the 2018 UI Green Metric Rank. This study combines content analysis and quantitative analysis. The findings show Indonesian universities use many channels and forms to report sustainability, also the majority of Indonesian university are quite ready for sustainability reporting. The result of Mann Whitney Test shows that there is no significant difference between Sustainability Performance and Sustainability Reporting, also there is no significant different between public and private universities in reporting. This indicates that for certain extent the universities already practiced sustainability but they are not aware or intent to report. The study is limited to the sustainability performance is represented by the rank in this list which might be subject of validity issues. The future study can be focused on the university-s view on sustainability reporting, and the existence of stakeholder demand of such reporting. Further investigation is also needed why sustainability performance is not necessarily following by sustainability reporting.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the management control system (MCS) in virtual organisation at a Research and Development (R&D) de-partment. This virtual organisation has been developed as a respond to industrial era 4.0 and in order to face the society 5.0 which is marked by digital culture that lead the research and development activities to be more flexible, technological and digital friendly also structured the organisation based on project in form of virtual mode. However, the MCS which is known as a routine-based and formal system sometimes argued as a rigid system and potential to be a hindrance to flexibility. Hence, MCS needs to be adapted to facilitate the changes inside the project-based virtual organisation while still enable the control system inside it. As such, this paper will try to explain how MCS is implemented and adapted to be aligned with the changing organisation. A qualitative case study was conducted at a R&D department of an Indonesian state-owned enterprise with the data gathered from some interviews with several key organisational members and also from internal and external documents. The finding shows that the changing organisation at R&D department was created as a response to the environmental, societal and technological forces which leads to the adaptation in the implementation of the MCS. Consequently, the informal adapted MCS was implemented to be aligned to the virtual organisation structure of the R&D department. This informal MCS consists of project-based indicator with revolving targets used for senior manager-s decision making and reward evaluation purposes. The report was conducted more often, quarterly report was chosen to adjust with the dynamic situation in virtual organisational mode.

Abstract
Succinic acid is one of the 12 top chemicals building block by the United States Department of Energy that has applications in various industries, such as food, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, cosmetics, and agriculture. One of the bacteria that can produce succinic acid is Actinobacillus succinogenes, which is included in the Actinobacteria phylum (0.86%) in ruminants, especially in the cattle rumen. Actinobacillus succinogenes has the ability to produce natural succinic acid with high yield value, productivity, and fermentation efficiency with renewable resources. Succinic acid can be produced through fermentation configuration from bacteria isolate with the help of OPEFB biomass as the carbon source. The fermentation process in this study uses a Semi-Simultaneous Saccharification and Fermentation configuration which is a combination of Separate Hydrolysis and Fermentation and Simultaneous Saccharification and Fermentation configuration to increase the yield of succinic acid. This study aims to obtain bio-succinic acid using bacteria isolates from the goats rumen through SSSF configuration and obtain the initial glucose concentration, nitrogen source concentration, and concentration of pH regulating compounds to optimize the concentration, yield, and productivity of succinic bio-acid. This research will begin with the isolation of bacteria from the goat rumen, OPEFB preparations, and fermentation process will be carried out.

In Indonesia, one of the regions that has good potential for Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) installations is the Natuna Sea which has a fairly good average wind speed in the range of 7.0 - 11.0 m/s. In addition, the Natuna Sea has water depth of around 80-100 m with relatively mild wave height. This condition is a suitable environment for the installation of the FOWT. This paper examined the analysis of the global motion of SPAR type FOWT structure and its mooring system through numerical modeling by using open source software FAST. The Spar structure was successful applied in the offshore oil and gas industries which has a special feature of deep-draft so that its motion characteristics are very good/stable because the Spar is not too affected by wind, waves or ocean currents, compared to other floating structure types. The Spar use is even capable of up to a depth of 10,000 ft (= 3,048 m). The analysis was carried out for parking condition, as a basic condition, by varying the direction of environmental loads (waves and winds), namely 0 degree (perpendicular in front of the turbine), 45 degrees, and 90 degrees (the turbine side direction) and wind speed. With the scope of such analysis, it could be properly examined the global motion modes (heave, roll and pitch) at suitable mooring system. This situation will prevent the Spar to structurally collapse and in turn its motion will not decrease the efficiency of the wind turbine itself.

The purpose of this research is to understand about student-s cognitive process in the solving test based on HOTS in the Mathematics subjects. Test is consisted five items. Difficulty level of item is distributed from the easy until difficult. The research was done for students in SMAN 1 Kediri, class of XII IPA. The result of research shows that the student-s cognitive process in HOTS is low level. The student could not finish the item test well. The half of student could finish one from five item. The none of student could finished the four item rest well. The reasons are (1) the student did not understand the test item well, (2) the students could not transform test items to picture format and Mathematics formula, (3) the students forget mathematics formula and its procedures (4) the students never did the test items such as that items. The process of finishing items shows that the student cannot relate some concept to the other concept well. Students could not analyse and create finishing procedure of items well, which involved student-s cognitive process such as Bloom-s Taxonomy.

Abstract
Indonesia is the second largest biodiversity country in the world. Indonesia has a variety of top agricultural and plantation commodities, whereas each commodity has premium products which are normally related to its specific character/flavour and are generally associated with the producing origins. Specific character/flavour is represented by composition of metabolites each origin. To find out the specific character/flavour found in various Indonesian plantation commodities, clustering is needed. In this paper, we perform clustering on one Indonesian plantation commodity based on their metabolites composition. Metabolite compositions of samples of several origins of the commodity are clustered using the Hard C-Means algorithm with the Xie-Beni index as the cluster validity. Our present results confirm that each origin has a unique characteristic and belongs to a separate cluster.

Abstract
The learning approach and classroom assessment techniques in the learning process are activities that must be carried out by the teacher to know students- achievement. The paradigm of the learning approach must have changed from student-centered to teacher-centered learning. One of the learning approaches that can be used by teachers in mathematics learning is realistic mathematics learning. In this approach, besides students are required to be active in their learning also learning activities emphasize the problems faced by students every day. In addition to the learning approach, the use of classroom assessment techniques can also determine student-s creativity in learning. Student-Generated Test Question (SGTQ) and Application Cards (AC) are examples of alternative classroom assessment techniques that teachers can use in addition to the classroom assessment techniques that have been used so far. The use of SGTQ and AC as a classroom assessment techniques allows students to think creatively and think higher in learning mathematics. The objective of the research is to find out the effect of learning approach and classroom assessment techniques toward student-s mathematics achievement. It was a quantitative research with an experimental study conducted in the State of Islamic Junior Secondary School (MTsN) of Cening and State of Islamic Junior Secondary School (MTsN) of Pandeglang 2 Labuan, Pandeglang. The students- mathematics achievement was seen at the end of the semester using the test. In this case, we will discuss the implication of learning approach and classroom assessment techniques for students- mathematics achievement. The result of this study indicates the influence of the use of the learning approach and classroom assessment techniques on students- mathematics achievement.

Abstract
Moore-s Method is a form of inquiry-based learning. R.L. Moore is a legendary figure behind this method, who started this method in an extreme way at the Mathematics Department, University of Texas in 1920-s. Despite the controversies it instilled, the method, or some milder versions of the method remain popular as a constructivist way to learn deep mathematics through inquiry-based learning. We report an implementation of Moore-s Method to a small group of students in learning new topics for their theses in two semester terms. The topic of the discussions was Spectral Properties of Quantum Graphs. By the nature of the method we tried to limit the use of textbooks or research articles for reference; almost everything that was needed for construction was produced independently within the discussions. Due to various background level they had already possessed in the beginning, the group started rather slowly. As they started to grasp better on the subject, the discussion pick up some pace, and the role of instructor started to diminish, to a mere facilitator. At the end of the second semester the group had gained significant confidence, proved a few results in some uncharted or less charted territory of Quantum Graph. The trial implementation of Moore-s method was deemed a success, as we gain some insight into the mechanics of the method: applicability and limitation, group size, topics covered, group interaction, assessment and indicators of success.
