Abstract
Smart Aquaponic is a system of planting plants and maintaining fish in one container with integrated Internet of Things technology. Aquaponic is the process by which plants utilize nutrients derived from fish feces which, if left in the pond, will become toxic to the fish. Plants function as a filter of vegetation which will break down these toxic substances into substances that are not harmful to fish. Plants also supply oxygen to the water used to maintain fish. With this cycle there will be a mutually beneficial cycle between plants and fish. This system is very profitable, because the land used will not be too large. The purpose of this study was to develop a smart aquaponic system using Internet of Things technology. In this system aquaponics are equipped with sensors that function as monitors and actuators. Actuators can be controlled by users using smart phones. Sensor monitoring can be observed by users using smart phones. The method used in this study uses the Microsoft Solution Framework (MSF) with the waterfall system development method and Object Oriented Development (OOD) method. Stages in this study includes problem identification, preliminary planning and design, piloting and implementation. Conclusion: This smart aquaponics design is ready to be implemented in small scale trials.

Abstract
[Introduction & aim of the study] Recent experimental and theoretical studies suggest that the carbon-vacancy complexes are formed in Fe-C alloys. In this work, we have performed first-principles calculations to evaluate the stability carbon-vacancy complexes in α-Fe. For comparison, nitrogen-vacancy complexes have been investigated. [Method] We employed VASP code to obtain formation energies and stable structures of interstitial solutes Xn (X = C and N, n = 1 to 6) and vacancy (V) complexes. The chemical bonding was analyzed using DV-Xα molecular orbital calculations. [Results & conclusion] The formation energies of carbon-vacancy complexes have been calculated with reference to the total energy of an isolated interstitial atom and an isolated mono vacancy. In the case of carbon-vacancy complexes, the C2-V complex is most stable due to the energy gain by forming the C-C bonding. On the one hand, the N2-V complex is less stable than the N1-V complex. This is due to the repulsive interaction between N atoms. The overlap population analysis reveals that the C 2s – C 2s anti-binding interaction is reduced by the C 2s – C 2p bonding interaction. The interaction between the N 2s and N 2p orbitals is not strong enough to cancel the N 2s – N 2s anti-bonding interaction.

Abstract
The discrete variational multi-electron (DVME) program is a first-principles many-electron calculation program especially designed to calculate multiplet states of transition-metal ions and rare-earth ions in crystals. It is a configuration interaction calculation program based on the discrete-variational Xa cluster method. It has been applied to analyze various optical materials such as ruby, alexandrite, Mn4+-doped fluorides and RE-doped YLF. The variety of multiplet spectra such as d-d, f-f, f-d spectra, and X-ray absorption near-edge structures have been reproduced without any empirical parameters and the origins of the peaks in the spectra have been clarified based on the configuration analysis of the many-electron wave functions. The DVME method have been also utilized to create various energy-structure maps for Mn4+ and Ce3+ in oxides which can be used for theoretical design of novel red phosphor materials for white LEDs. Since systematic first-principles calculations are quite time consuming, we have also begun to create simple predictive models based on machine learning by using the results of the first-principles calculations as the training data. This could accelerate the creation of detailed energy-structure maps. In this presentation, I will show some of the recent applications and future perspective of the DVME method

Abstract
Adiponectin has a protective role in metabolic syndromes. Adiponectin gene polymorphism +276G>T (rs1501299) was reported has a strong relationship with increased adiponectin level. However, reports about this variant are still inconsistent in obese people. We investigated the association of adiponectin gene variant with circulating adiponectin. The study was performed with 110 apparently healthy adults about 20-40 years old Javanese people. Pregnant subjects and subjects either under diabetic or other metabolic syndrome medications, were excluded. Plasma was used to measure 8- hours fasting glucose and adiponectin level. PCR-RFLP examined DNA genotyping. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Fisher Exact test, independent t-test, and Mann Whitney test (p<0.05). Genotyping results showed three genotypes of this polymorphism, namely GG, GT, and TT. No significant difference in genotype distribution related to circulating adiponectin both in obese and lean group. Despite the fact about adiponectin lowering action in the obese group, this polymorphism may neither a risk factor nor protective variant for the Javanese population. These findings assert the adiponectin gene variant still vary in influencing circulating adiponectin among the different population.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Corruption in Indonesia is actually not a new phenomenon. Corruption has existed since the era of the old order, new order, even the colonial era. In the reformation era style democratic political system, corruption became apparent that open our eyes that it turns out, it has had a chronic illness. Theoretically, the political system can be linked with the phenomenon of corruption. Politics cannot be separated with power, corruption too. Therefore, how the system will affect the power management of the phenomenon of corruption. A democratic system can be a positive or negative effect on corruption cases. A number of corruption cases in Indonesia has been so massive. Various studies or surveys are always seats the corruption in Indonesia ranked high compared to other countries. Even now well recognized that corruption is considered a serious disease, it is an attempt to lead to corruption eradication increasingly considered important. The effort is characterized by the formation of a variety of laws and regulations, strengthening anti-corruption agencies and anti-corruption education, all of which is expected to eliminate or reduce this social disease. Prospects for a successful eradication of corruption depend on all components of the nation because without the participation of all is impossible corruption will disappear. Various fields and strategies must be done to sustain the program. Everything and even then, it should always be backed by a strong political and social will.

Abstract
As the investment activity in companies go, they surely will need a certain amount of fund to make sure they able to grab the investment opportunity they faced. There are many ways for company to acquire the fund they needed, using retained earnings as the way to exploit their internal finance is one way of it, and the other way is by issuing bond or stock. Within field of finance, there are two most contradicting theories which are pecking order theory and trade-off theory. Using the sample of public companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange, we examine the funding decision of all companies (exclude finance industry) in Indonesia. We find that, while large firms exhibit some aspect of pecking order behavior, the evidence is not robust to the inclusion of conventional leverage factors. Financing deficit is less important in explaining net debt issues over time for firms of all sizes.

Abstract
The most important financial performance of the regional government can be measured by the ratio of annual revenue growth. This study aims to examine the effect of autonomy and operating performance on the financial performance of regional government revenue growth with budget effectiveness as an intervening variable. The unit of analysis of this study includes the financial statements of 29 regency governments and 6 cities in Central Java Province, Indonesia for three periods from 2015 to 2017. The results of this study indicate that autonomy and operating performance have a positive effect on financial performance of district government revenue growth /city. This study provides empirical support for the implementation of the new public management theory to improve the financial performance of district / city governments, especially in growing regional income. However, the results show that the effectiveness of the budget is not able to mediate an increase in the influence of autonomy and operating performance on the financial performance of the growth of district / city government revenues. It is recommended that the effectiveness of the district / city government budget be improved.

Abstract
Indonesia has a large population that faces food supply problems in the future, when it is estimated that Indonesias population will reach 300 million by 2045. To ensure the availability of accessible food with sufficient quality and quantity, appropriate policies are needed to overcome the problem originating from the supply and demand side. This study analyzes the side of domestic food demand, namely the demand of rice as the main food type, which is influenced by determinants such as price levels, substitute food prices, seasons, food diversification policies, and income. This study fins that the demand for rice in Indonesia is still determined by inelastic prices, season, and income.

Abstract
This research explores the development and accountability of green financial instruments for addressing climate change in order to improve our understanding of potential behavioural changes by key institutions. This financial initiative is known as green sukuk, which is a hybrid of conventional government bonds, Islamic finance principles and climate change concern, issued by Indonesian government. In particular, we explore how the flow of funds, from the capital markets to the Indonesian state budget, is tracked and its impact measured. By understanding the behavioural changes, this study proposes to contribute to the debate on sustaining impact in addressing climate change issues. Furthermore, it fills gaps within negotiated boundaries of this hypothecated finance by internalising Islamic principles and green framework. This research obtained data across the life cycle of green sukuk from both state and non-state actors. Drawing upon a theoretical framework on boundary objects, it enables to develop a design of ‘common- goal within a mixture of respective capabilities, through calculative boundaries, to understand potential changes of institutional behaviour in sustaining its impact. This study provides implication to state and non-state actors who articulate green sukuk to develop scopes of externalities in maintaining a sustainable transition of climate finance.

Abstract
East Java has an average economic growth above the average national economic growth, which means the productivity of superior local commodities has been accepted and consumed by the community, both local and global community. Local commodities are goods produced by people with added value so as to increase per capita income and economic prosperity. This has become a common conversation both from practitioners, businesspeople, academics, and even government. The existence of local commodities need to be maintained and continue to be the focus of economic revamping, so it needs a development model of local superior commodities that can run continuously based on the values of justice, balance, and efficiency. This study aims to build a modification model which develop local commodity business in maqashid syariah perspective and produce business indicator that developed by maqashid syariah perspective. This research is expected to contribute a concept and application of scholarship which especially focuses on business development model. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with explanatory analysis. The object of research is local businessmen from cooperative managers and coffee farmers in Puncu village, Kediri Regency. The financing model to develop the local commodities business of East Java lies not only in developing the material only, but also should place human as the subject and main object to be involved in the business development process. Abstract
Islamic banks in Indonesia have been in existence for more than twenty years. Indonesia has a unique type of banking with a special segmentation of micro small and Medium Enterprises we call it rural banks, where not all countries have it. With a very large number reaching 1,593 conventional bank and 165 islamic bank. This paper aims to describe and critically evaluate and compare the financial performance of Islamic rural banks to that of conventional rural banks. Three aspect are Profitability, Liquidity and Financing quality for Islamic and conventional banks are examined. The analysis of monthly data covers the period from January 2009 to Desmber 2018 (120 observations). Paired sampled t-test was adopted to see whether there are significant differences in the financial ratios between both banks. This study found that on profitability and financing quality aspect conventional rural banks are significantly higher than that of Islamic rural banks, but not on liqudity aspect. Based on that result the findings suggest that Islamic banks need to mantain their financing quality to get higher profit. Conventional banks need to push financing to support the real sector as that of Islamic banks.

Abstract
In waqf sector, comparison between budget and realization of the state budget (APBN) represents the mainstream information that available for public access. On other hand, there is a mechanism in which the result or success become prerequisite for investment return, hence equipped with measurable explicit outcome called as Social Impact Bond (SIB). SIB is acknowledged as an innovative financial instrument that enable impact investment scheme by blending both social and financial return at the same time. As some studies associated SIB concept with social finance and Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) which contains value of maqasid shariah, Islamic finance may take lesson from it. Unfortunately, the concept of SIB not yet become popular in Indonesia, as the largest Muslim population country. Acknowledged this situation, current paper aims to synthesize the concept of SIB and identify its existing models across jurisdictions. Take lesson from SIB-s characteristics, this paper will also propose partnership model in waqf sector, which essentially embraces impact investment in nature. Meta-synthesis of the literatures on SIB is employed in this study. Review of existing reports and publications by relevant institutions complement the systematic literature review (SLR) in current study. This study represents the pioneer work that attempts to elaborate SIB concept and waqf within Indonesian environment

Abstract
This thesis is conducted to examine the internal and external return factors of stock return mutual funds fixed income mutual funds. Foreign ownership and family concentration are considered important to be studied more deeply, considering that in previous studies both factors were rarely considered as determinants of stock returns. The sample used is stock mutual funds and fixed income mutual funds listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and actively traded during the January 2013 to December 2017. The number of mutual funds that meet the research criteria are 76 stock mutual funds and 99 fixed income mutual funds. The form of data used in this study is panel data. The analytical tool used is regression with the EViews 9.0 statistical program. The result, the independent variable consisting of managed funds, volatility and sharpe ratio jointly influence the dependent variable (the performance of stock mutual funds). Partially, the managed funds do not affect the performance of mutual funds, but volatility and sharpe ratio significantly influence the performance of stock mutual funds. In fixed income mutual funds, independent variables consisting of managed funds, volatility and sharpe ratio jointly influence the dependent variable (the performance of fixed income mutual funds). Partially, managed funds, volatility and sharpe ratios significantly influence the performance of fixed income mutual funds.

Abstract
New form of learning that combines technology have increased in recent years and are projected to increase more in the coming years. This new learning trend has been described as an e-learning revolution. Some recent research shows that most e-learning programs show a higher failure rate compared to traditional learning methods. However, some researches proved that most e-learning programs showed a higher failure rate compared to traditional learning methods. Technology addiction and its availability in the modern world, and the economic potential for organizations, make it important to understand the factors that might lead to increase e-learning adoption in the organizational context. This study will see the intention of employees to use e-learning, by extending Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) using some other related factors, such as goal orientation learning, management support, computer self efficacy, and enjoyment. This study was conducted on 213 respondents in a company that owns e-learning using a questionnaire. Data obtained were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS software. The results show that of the four variables, goal orientation learning, and enjoyment have a significant positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, which acts as mediation towards the intention to use in the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM). In addition, an additional variable, which is satisfaction, proved a significant positive effect to intention to use.

Abstract
Workplace health and safety are important issues that should not be understated for employees especially who work on high-risk working environment, including ground handling activities. In recent years, much attention has been paid to the safety climate and its roles in improving employees- compliance behavior towards safety. However, there are still a limited number of studies regarding safety climate on ground handling activities. This study applied the concept of safety climate to understand how its dimensions impact the employees- safety compliance behavior. This research employed surveys as the main data collection method and involved 238 respondents from PT X who operated the ground handling equipment in the airport-s apron area. The researcher tested the hypothesis at the dimensions level using Smart PLS. The results showed that safety supervision, management commitment, and safety training were the predictors of safety compliance.

Abstract
The objective of research is investigation on characteristics of Particulate Matter (PM) on the food storage room using electrostatic precipitation (ESP). The filter of ESP is a technic of filtration device that removes fine particles gas using the force of an induced electrostatic charge and corona discharge produced by DC high voltage. The experimental research is conducted with the ESP Filter and smoke chamber. Artificial smoke was injected in the chamber and ESP charges the particle by corona discharge that applied to reduce diameter of particulate matter (PM). The results show that the time of smoke discharge from the room is shown in figure 1. Cooper material show slightly faster than the stainless steel and aluminum. Even the results show the cooper faster than others, stainless steel is chosen for application of ESP, because the characteristic of stainless is anti-corrosive and easy maintenance.Research results by 15 mm distance plate is more effective to absorb of particulate matter in the food storage than 9 mm distance plate in both of voltages. The effectiveness of cooper material for reduce of particulate matter diameter is showed. The measurement of PM diameter is using Scanning Electron Microscope with 5000 times enlarged. Experimental data taken by SEM Phenom-Xand Sputtering Quorum. The data shows when using cooper plate, mean diameter of PM are 4.06 μm and 3.64 μm for 9 mm and 15 mm distance plate, respectively. Also, for the stainless-steel and aluminum plate shows the 15 mm distance plate the mean diameter of PM is higher than 9 mm, this is because the effect of corona needs some space between plate for the reaction. One of the main advantages of ESP system is that various types of dust, mist, droplets, etc., can be collected under both dry and wet conditions and also submicron size particles can be collected with high efficiency.

Abstract
Shrimp shells are widely produced from shrimp-based food industry as a waste. The waste of shrimp shell can be used to produce chitosan, it need three stages of process namely deproteination, demineralization and deacetylation. Furthermore, the chitosan is made into chitosan nanoparticles by precipitation method using ammonia. The ammonia is added to chitosan solution with acetic acid. The resulting nanochitosan was tested on blood clots as a biocoagulant agent of various blood types. The results showed that the chitosan have the acetylation degree of about 68.67%. The chitosan nanoparticles obtained particle size of 782.6 nm for condtion of concentration of amonia15% addition and duration of stirring for 10 minutes. The clotting tests showed that the addition of nanochitosan can accelerate blood clots but the rate of blood clotting shows different results from each blood types. A bloodless without nanochitosan freezing at 604.5 second and blood clotting with significant time difference was shown in A types of blood only during 372 seconds.
