Abstract
Road safety is one of the most important things in carrying out transportation. One effort to improve road safety is to reduce the number of traffic accidents. By knowing the accident data at a location, transportation planners can conduct analysis so that they can provide recommendations for improvements, handling and strategies for improving road safety. However, the prediction model in Indonesia in some studies is more local purposes. Meanwhile the prediction model used in various countries needs to be adapted to the conditions of Indonesia. This study aims to develop Safety Performance Functions (SPFs) for estimating the number of traffic accidents that can be used to predict the number of accidents on national rural road segments by looking at the characteristic of road condition in Indonesia with the Generalized Linear Model (GLM) approach and Empirical Bayes (EB). The availability of data in the form of a web-based accident database from the National Police Corps and the time series data from 8 provinces in Indonesia allows this research to be carried out. The model developed is expected to function as an evaluation tool and decision maker in its contribution to improving road safety in Indonesia.

Abstract
Value-based intermediation (VBI) has been introduced by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as the next strategic direction and growth driver for Islamic banking institutions. The aim of VBI is to deliver the intended outcome of Shariah through practices, conducts, and offerings that generate positive and sustainable impact to the economy, community and environment which is aligned to Maqasid Shariah in preserving the common interest of society by preventing harm and maximizing benefit. Hence, upon its implementation, VBI will experiment the current Shariah compliance treatment and revolutionise new policies and systems that can meritoriously entrench and convey the objectives of Shariah. However, discussion revolving VBI in the light of Maqasid analysis is still scarce hence further research needs to be undertaken. The idea of implementation of VBI vision into quantifiable Maqasid Shariah measurement is yet to be explored due to the nature of Maqasid that is variable. The contemporary scholars also have different views on the implementation of VBI. This paper aims to discuss on the importance of Maqasid Shariah in the current Islamic finance transactions by providing Shariah index measurement in the application of VBI. This study also intends to explore basic Shariah guidelines and parameters based on the objectives of Shariah; preservation of the five pillars (religion, life, progeny, intellect and wealth) with further elaboration on preservation of wealth under five headings: rawaj (circulation and marketability); wuduh (transparency); hifz (preservation); thabat (durability and tranquillity); and adl (equity and justice). In alignment with these headings, Islamic finance can be innovated for VBI implementation, particularly in Maybank Islamic being a significant leader in the IFI market.

Abstract
Deemed Consent – a unique concept or feature in an agreement – refers to under what conditions a contract will be legally accepted and completed in certain circumstances by the contracting parties. This concept is important to ensure the banks contract can be deemed as valid even without the consent of the customer. In principle, a contract is not deemed as a valid contract until an offer is accepted by the contracting parties. In fact, deemed consent element also has been practised and embedded in number of banks products and services. However, until now there are no conclusive fatwas or resolutions from Shariah scholars on that concept. Moreover, there are no guidelines or parameters developed by the central bank or IFI itself to govern the implementation of deemed consent. Does deemed consent considered as Shariah compliant concept? Does deemed concept fulfil all the required pillars and conditions of Shariah contracts? Does the current practice of deemed consent can be justified as acceptable according to the Shariah requirement? Does deemed consent have a certain limitation of time to ensure it complies with the Shariah and can be legally enforced? Hence, this paper aims to answer these questions as a guide for any industry players to adapt this concept into their products and services. Shariah deliberation in deemed consent is important to avoid any dispute occurred later that can give a negative impact to both contracting parties.

Abstract
Abstract This research deals with the problems encountered by the students whose first language is Sundanese language in learning English as a Foreign Language. The focus of this study is to examine the errors made by the students who have a Sundanese cultural background in producing consonant sounds. The study used descriptive qualitative research. This study involved the first-grade students of Vocational High School. The data were collected through observations and recordings. The recordings of the students- English pronunciation were transcribed phonetically. The data were analyzed by using contrastive analysis techniques. The findings revealed that Sundanese students met problems in English consonant sounds while producing[θ], [ð], [v], [f], and [z]. Sundanese students tend to shift the English consonant sounds to Sundanese sound systems when they speak. The results indicate that the significant differences between English and Sundanese sound systems are the cause of interference. To reduce the first language interference, the teacher should learn something about phonetic features of the students- first language sound systems so she or he can predict the errors that students would probably make while producing English sounds. Moreover, the students must be familiarized to speak and to listen to English in the teaching learning process.

Abstract
Academic writing is worthwhile for university students in fostering their academic success and gaining their future employment. It is an essential skill that university students should master, predominantly in 4.0 era, when the competition is getting tighter. However, writing has always been problematic even for todays college students who also known as millennials. This study aimed to explore three components: 1) Millennial students perspective on academic writing, 2) The major academic writing difficulties encountered by millennial students, and 3) The main factors that caused the difficulties. Data were collected by using questionnaire with open-ended questions through 60 English Department students. The results indicated that 50% of participants found academic writing difficult with only 18% of them got A for their academic writing score. The major problems are they have difficulties in expressing other writers idea into their own words, organizing the text coherently, and finding a relevant references for their writing. The main factors that caused the problem is they did not get detailed explanation about academic writing considerations in classroom, which lead them to learn from the internet. Nevertheless, internet can be both beneficial and harmful for the participants. Since they can find many sources in the internet, it confused them to choose the most appropriate references for their writing, in which they sometimes ended up with just copying without filtering the sources. Therefore, this study suggests lecturers to provide students with guidance in identifying relevant sources and witnessing more practices to the students.

Abstract
The learning trends of 4.0 have been warmly discussed among all EFL teachers to find out the learning goals, one of them is promoting the students to be creative, collaborative, critical, and communicative as demanded for industrial revolution. However, these goals have not been reached since most of English teachers keep using conventional learning strategies without integrating digital technology. This paper presents a study focusing on Higher Order Thinking Skills in digital storytelling to teach English in EFL context and the constraints faced by the teachers in implementing this learning strategy. A Classroom Action Research was implemented through three instruments, namely classroom observation, interview with students and teacher, and documentation. One class of eight graders and one English teacher were involved as the participants. The results reveal that HOTS in digital storytelling could be used as an innovative learning strategies since the students could explore and develop their digital literacy in their own way. It was gained through analysing and evaluating what they need and creating something as to fulfil their needs as problem solving. From the interview, the teacher stated that they still got lack of knowledge and experience to implement HOTS in digital storytelling because they were not well-literate so that they could not implement this strategy optimally.

Abstract
According to the Indonesian Ministry of Education, the implementation of Computer-based National Exam (CBNE) has been a success and able to improve the assessment quality, logistic efficiency, and student digital literacy in secondary schools. However, there are multiple issues reported during the CBNEs, and they seem to increase as the CBNE covers more areas and involves more students. Considering the role of Indonesian CBNE as the pioneer in the digitalised high-stakes assessment for secondary level education in the world, understanding the issues affecting CBNE is crucial for better implementation in Indonesia and future guidelines for other countries which aim to apply a similar method of assessment. This paper is aimed to give insights into potential issues in the implementation of CBNE based on a theoretical analysis of secondary sources conducted through library research, especially from an English education perspective. The paper suggests that academic and technological issues may put students at a disadvantage during CBNEs. The academic issue centres on the challenges in developing CBNEs question formats and aligning them with existing curriculum, while the technological issue deals with reliability and availability of the technologies involved in the CBNE. The paper will also offer theoretical solutions to improve the preparation process of the CBNE to accommodate an improved implementation in the sort and long-term periods. The issues elaborated in this paper are expected to attract more exploratory-type primary research to gain more insights in establishing a fundamental understanding of a large-scale CBNE for high-stakes purposes around the world in this digital age.

The analysis is done by simulating the milling process using Autodesk Simulation Mechanical software which is integrated with the finite element method. The material in this study uses Titanium Ti6Al4V and tungsten carbide as a tool. Vibration analysis using variations of frequency 0, 20, 40, 50, amplitude 75, 250, 200, 100, and frequency natural values obtained random vibrations with a frequency of 0.000350173 cycle/s in the first step and 0.000628503 cycles/s in the second step. Thus, changes in vibration can occur due to changes in parameters performed.

Abstract
In the Mamak River, there is the Mamak Dam which functions as flood control, micro hydro power plants, irrigation, fisheries and tourist attractions. However, flooding is still common in the Mamak River. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Mamak Dam in controlling the volume of flooding that enters and the capacity of the Mamak River to deliver the design flood. The investigation was carried out with a survey at the study site and collected secondary data in the form of a design flood, a longitudinal and cross section profile of the Mamak River, capacity curve and equation of discharge at the overflow of the Mamak Dam. The methodology carried out was in the form of routing floods through reservoir by routing floods through the level pool routing. The profile of the Mamak River uses unsteady flow with the of HECRAS 4.1 software. The conclusions from this study are: 1). Mamak Dam can extend the peak flood time from 5 to 6 hours to 10 to 12 hours; reducing the flood of Mamak Dam between 107.51 m3 / s to 232.96 m3 / s or equivalent to 60.44% to 41.75% according to the return period of the flood discharge. 2). The flood discharge that comes from the overflow of the Mamak Dam is not able to be fully flowed by the Mamak River resulting in flooding, both annual flooding and for 25 years return period. 3). To overcome this flood, the flood dikes planned to vary in height from 0.81 m to 3.2 m

Abstract
Highway is an important means of transportation to support community and economic activities. However, the highway also raises several problems, including traffic congestion. Traffic congestion can lead to losses material or non-material. Some efforts have been made by the City Government to overcome this problem. However, traffic congestion problems still occur, especially congestion that is non-recurrent. This type of congestion is dynamic and unpredictable. The risk management approach is an alternative that can be used to solve this problem, find out the dominant causes, and planning the right response. There are some earlier research, but have not found that describe patterns of interaction between risk factors and stakeholders involved in an effort to overcome this problem comprehensively. Traffic congestion is a complex problem. Therefore, Social Network Analysis (SNA) became one of the powerful methodologies used to describe and understand patterns of relations in complex problems. This research is intended to model risk factors causes traffic congestion, and stakeholders involved. Data analysis was taken base on respondents perceptions of several relevant stakeholders. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for stakeholders to understand and find the best response to overcome traffic congestion problems.

Abstract
The pathophysiology of infertility in endometriosis is still controversial and widely investigated. Several mechanisms are put forward. Whether In Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer program is a solution still need further study. This research purpose is to compare the output of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer between endometriosis infertility and non-endometriosis infertility. This a case-control study was followed by fifty endometriosis-associated infertility patients and fifty infertility due to tubal factor and or sperm undergoing In Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer at Permata Hati Clinic, Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. The research output is fertilization rate, number of the good quality embryo and the success of pregnancy based on the pregnancy test. Data analysis was done by a statistical test of T-test and Chi-Square. Multivariate analysis was done by logistic regression. The number of good quality embryos in endometriosis group was lower (2.34 more or less 2.33 vs 3.44 more or less 2.97; p <0.05), but the fertilization rate was same (48.58 more or less 27.16 vs 55.19 more or less 30.9; p > 0.05). Compare to non-endometriosis, endometriosis group had bigger risk of pregnancy failure (OR 3.758, CI95% 1.11 until 12.68, p <0.03).

Abstract
Background: Urena sinuata L. is a wild shrubby plant with some folk medicinal use. To our knowledge, the biological importance of this plant has not been investigated yet. Purpose: The present study aimed to determine the neuropharmacology, antinociceptive, anti inflammatory and antipyretic effects of the chloroform extract of Urena sinuata leaves CEUS in rodents and to elucidate the possible mechanism of antinociception involved with its acute toxicity and phytochemical studies. Methods: Neuropharmacological activities of CEUS were conducted by hole cross, open field test, elevated plus maze test and thiopental induced sleeping time test. For the analgesic activity of CEUS different methods like hot plate test, acetic acid induced test, formalin induced test, tail immersion test and glutamate induced nociception were used. Additionally, the possible mechanism of nociception is identified by cyclic guanosine monophosphate and ATP sensitive K channel pathway analysis. Carrageenan induced rat paw edema and cotton pellet induced granuloma test also were used to detect anti inflammatory activity and brewers yeast induced pyrexia test for antipyretic activity. Results: The extract 200 and 400 mg/kg was administered orally 60min prior to subjection to the respective test. The results obtained demonstrated that CEUS produced significant neuropharmacological, anti inflammatory and antipyretic activity with low or no toxicity. The extract also exerts antinociceptive response in all the chemical and thermal-induced nociception models. Furthermore, it involves cyclic guanosine monophosphate and ATP sensitive K channel pathway mediated antinociceptive effect. Conclusions: These data show for the first time that CEUS has significant neuropharmacological, anti inflammatory and antipyretic effects which appear to be related to the inhibition of the glutamatergic system and rationalized the traditional use of the leaf in the treatment of different types of inflammation in intestines and bladder. Thus the leaves of Urena sinuata could be used in the treatment of several types of inflammation in intestines and bladder.
